I did this exact same article for my issue also! I remember doing these for grade 4 and 7, they were kind of pointless in my opinion as the testing did not count for marks. I agree with the article in the sense that results can seem like a competition between schools, and they should chose a diffident way of marking tests. I think the FSA will do fine, but they do have some issues to work out.
I kind of have mixed feelings about the FSA's. I took them in grade 7 and thought they were pointless and just stressed me out. I understand why they have them but I find the way they just stick you in a room with 30 other kids is defiantly pointless. Most of the kids these days just get their parents to sign the form so they can get out of them. All I can say is I'm glad I won't have to take them again!
